SALT LAKE CITY – April 8, 2015 – Boart Longyear (www.BoartLongyear.com) has formally recognized a customer relationship spanning three generations and almost 80 years. The recognition is part of Boart Longyear’s 125^th anniversary celebrations during 2015.

Mr. Kent Hoots, Senior Vice President, Products formally recognized George Downing Estate Drilling for their unwavering support and customer loyalty since 1936. Mr. Hoots presented Bruce and Andrew Downing with a custom plaque featuring a rendering of a Junior Straitline which was the very first drill rig that company founder, George Downing, rented from Longyear in 1936.

Bruce and his son Andrew Downing discussed their almost 80 year long relationship with Boart Longyear at PDAC 2015.
