Boart Longyear

Boart Longyear Drilling Services has developed and is now operating a fleet of newly designed underground mobile drill rigs. These rigs are designed for safety and use proven durable LM^TM hardware. It is self-contained with an easily maintained self-diagnosing CANbus control system, rods, water pump, tools and safety equipment on board.

The rig is able to drill conventional or wireline, it is powered by either electric or diesel, has up to 7 tonnes pull-back capacity and is rod handler capable. With its heavy duty design with exceptional stability in the toughest conditions this translates to fast set up times and less manual handling for increased productivity and safety.
