The oil sands market is steadily growing as technologies increase production capabilities. Boart Longyear™ serves this market’s needs by providing in-situ core samples to accurately identify the depth and range of oil sand bodies. Our Sonic™ technology can accurately sample deposits at depths over 200m while producing a continuous core recovery at or near 100 percent.

We also install monitoring wells and pumping wells to supply water needs. Multiple wells can be installed within each borehole drilled to monitor various sublevels and aquifers.
