Overburden Cased Drilling Systems

Boart Longyear's cased drilling systems add flexibility to drilling in varying conditions. In addition to the benefits of increased flushing control, the Inner and outer strings are able to be independently controlled on some systems, which greatly increases control over drilling. For deeper applications Boart Longyear's double head drilling system allows for a dual string drilling system with internal flushing, which minimizes deviation from target. This method of drilling reduces risk, project time and produces optimal results.

	Systems Boart Longyear^TM offers four types of cased drilling systems: Drive, Duplex, Double Head (Rotary / Rotary), Double Head (Rotary / Percussive).		Flushing Heads Each cased drilling system has its own unique flushing head, which is designed to introduce flushing media in its own unique way.
	Threads Boart LongyearT^M offers a variety of thread types designed for specific drilling applications.		Rods Whether used for percussive or rotary drilling, we specifically designs and engineers our rods to withstand the harsh conditions in which they are used.
	Casing Whether using the Drive, Duplex or one of the Double Head methods Boart Longyear has specifically designed casing to work with the system.		Bits and Drive Shoes A wide range of bits and drive shoes are offered to match drilling needs and formations being encountered.
	Tools and Accessories From grouting heads and nipples to manual wrenches Boart Longyear offers the necessary accessories and tools for using our equipment.
