Boart Longyear™ has a variety of metrics to track the progress of our safety program and develop best practices to ultimately drive Lost Time Incident Rate (LTIR) and Total Case Incident Rate (TCIR) to zero.

By analyzing a rolling twelve month average we are able to identify trends in our safety programs to ensure that we are being as effective as possible. With an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) below .5, Boart Longyear continues to be an industry leader in safety.
