V-Wall^TM

The V-Wall^TM rod is an internally-upset rod available with our genuine Q^TM thread, the high load-efficiency RQ^TM thread or HD thread.  All V-Wall^TM rods undergo a unique combination of proprietary heat treatment processes for superior performance in demanding applications.
Weight in the V-Wall^TM rod has been reduced by up to 30%, which drastically increases a drillís depth capacity.  The annular clearance is also increased by up to 30%, which allows the core barrel to descend at speeds up to 20% faster.  When used in conjunction with the Quick Descent Core Barrel, drop speeds can be expected to increase up to 50%. 

The mid-body also benefits from the internally-upset process and provides flexibility for wedging and steering in deviated hole applications.
