Boart Longyear's overshot is an integral part of our wireline system. Its heavy duty lifting dogs grab a secure hold of the spearhead point to retrieve the inner tube assembly out of the hole. Our overshot can also be used to lower the inner tube assembly back into the hole using the locking sleeve, if a low water table is encountered.
