Environment Health & Safety

We recognize the value of well trained employees who can optimize production and efficiencies in a safe work environment.  At our Driller Training Center, we instruct crews in safe work practices, fundamental operating procedures and advanced drilling techniques before they go to work on your project.  The training center mirrors actual on the job conditions, with a full complement of equipment found on an operating contract.

Formal classroom instruction and hands-on experience, delivered by two dedicated trainers, ensures our crews are kept abreast of customer needs and industry developments.  Our aim is to attain world class status in health and safety performance.  To achieve this goal, we are committed to reviewing our curriculum on a regular basis.

In addition to Common Core modules, WMIS, client relations and housekeeping, we have delivered specific courses tailored to suit our customer's needs.  Training of indigenous workers from remote communities and an introduction to safety around a diamond drilling environment for geoscientists are a few examples of these initiatives.

We are proud of what we have achieved, and recognize the ongoing responsibility to provide our people with the necessary skills to lead our respective industries in health and safety performance.
