In addition to standard surface set bits, Boart Longyear offers a complete range of Triple-Tube Surface Set Bits. Triple-tube surface set bits are used with Boart Longyear triple-tube core barrels. They have a smaller inside diameter and face discharge ports which direct the drilling fluid away from the core sample in order to minimize disturbance and core washing.
