Ira Kane’s business career began in 1984 when he joined O.J. Materials (OHM Corporation) of Findley, Ohio as President and led the Company’s growth from an 18M dollar privately held environmental emergency response company to a New York Stock Exchange; 450M dollar fully integrated environmental services company. OHM became one of the nation’s largest environmental remediation companies during Ira’s tenure.
In 1994, Ira joined MPW Industrial Services Company as President and Chief Operating Officer. Within 8 years, MPW grew to become a publicly held 200M diversified industrial services company. In 1999, MPW was named one of the 200 Best Small Companies in America by Forbes Magazines.
Ira joined the PROSONIC Corporation, which worked in the application of sonic drilling technology, in October 2003 as President and COO. During his tenure, Ira led a variety of strategic, management and operational changes that produced a doubling of company revenues; even greater bottom line growth; improved equipment utilization; and international expansion.
Ira received his BA from Hofstra University, New York and his JD degree from The Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Cleveland-State University, Cleveland, Ohio.
