Jeder Bohrer mit Talent und Leidenschaft f\u00fcr sein Handwerk wird Ihnen sagen, dass Bohren eine Kunstform ist. Sie trainieren, indem sie die Sprache ihrer Ausr\u00fcstung sprechen und mit subtilen Anpassungen an den Bedienelementen reagieren, die der Durchschnittsmensch nicht sieht. Ein solcher Bohrer leistete in Kanada eine ziemliche Leistung.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t<\/section>

In der N\u00e4he der K\u00fcsten von Nordost-Neufundland liegt die von Rambler Metals and Mining betriebene Mine Ming. Rambler ben\u00f6tigte eine wichtige Bel\u00fcftung, um 400.000 cfm-Abluftventilatoren f\u00fcr ihr Bel\u00fcftungssystem an der Oberfl\u00e4che zu installieren. \n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t<\/section>

Rambler startete das Projekt zun\u00e4chst mit zwei verschiedenen Oberfl\u00e4chenbohrern, war jedoch nicht erfolgreich. Dann dachten sie \u00fcber einen Alimak Raise-Kletterer nach oder bauten eine konventionelle Raise mit Stopper-Bohrern ab.<\/p>\n

Beide Alternativen waren jedoch aufgrund ihres Zeit- und Kostenaufwands unattraktiv.<\/p>\n

Rambler besprach die Situation dann mit Brian Winsor, Boart Longyear Langlochbohrer, der vorschlug, einen Boart Longyear Stopemaster einzusetzen, um die komplizierte Dropraise abzuschlie\u00dfen.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Brian bohrte sein erstes Loch, brach aber nicht durch. Unbeirrt sch\u00e4tzte Brian die Position dieses Lochs anhand der Abweichungsdistanz und versetzte sein zweites Bohrloch, das letztendlich durchbrach. Brian bohrte die restlichen L\u00f6cher nach einem Muster, das auf dem anf\u00e4nglichen Durchbruch basiert. Die Bohrungen verliefen reibungslos und gem\u00e4\u00df dem von Brian erstellten Plan, basierend auf dem ersten Durchbruchloch.<\/p>\n

Brian sprengte den Raise, hob das Gesicht und brachte den Schnitt zum Durchbruch an die Oberfl\u00e4che. Die verbleibenden Bohrungen strahlte er bis zur vollen Gestaltung der Bel\u00fcftungserh\u00f6hung.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t<\/section>

Bei keiner der Hochspannungsleitungen und Oberfl\u00e4cheninstallationen, die sich in unmittelbarer N\u00e4he der Lage des Oberfl\u00e4chenkragens befanden, kam es zu Besch\u00e4digungen. Die Sprengarbeiten wurden ohne Verz\u00f6gerungen f\u00fcr den Untertagebau abgeschlossen.<\/p>\n

Brian konnte dieses Projekt zu Ramblers Zufriedenheit mit Bohrintuition, kritischem Denken und harter Arbeit abschlie\u00dfen.
