Boart Longyear and its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Boart Longyear” or “Company”) have received patents and registered designs for many innovations. These patents and registered designs protect Company inventions and the extensive resources the Company devotes to research, development and design. The products listed below and additional products may be protected by one or more additional patents, pending patents, or registered designs not listed here.

In accordance with 35 USC 287(a) in the United States, in view of § 123(2) of the Australian Patents Act 1990 and § 75(2) of the Australian Designs Act 2003, in accordance with §§ 66(1) and 66(2) of the South African Patents Act No. 95 of 1978 and § 35(6) of the South African Designs Act No. 195 of 1993, and in accordance with similar and related laws and regulations in other jurisdictions, Boart Longyear provides notice that the products listed below are protected by the associated patents listed below.
